Day 1 Arrival in Bishnupur & Terracotta Heritage Exploration
Arrive at Bishnupur Railway Station or proceed by road from nearby cities such as Kolkata or Asansol where assistance will be provided. This marks the beginning of your heritage and nature journey through the Rarh region, covering Bishnupur, Mukutmanipur, Susunia, Biharinath, and Joypur Forest. Begin exploring Bishnupur, the historic capital of the Malla Kings renowned for its extraordinary terracotta temple architecture and classical Bengali heritage. Visit the iconic Rasmancha admired for its unique pyramid-style architecture and continue toward the beautifully carved Shyam Rai Temple and Jor Bangla Temple showcasing intricate terracotta artwork depicting mythology, music, warfare, and royal life. In the evening, explore the traditional weaving centers of Bishnupur where skilled artisans continue crafting world-famous Baluchari and Swarnachari silk sarees using centuries-old weaving techniques.
Day 2 Bishnupur to the Tranquil Waters of Mukutmanipur
After breakfast, continue heritage exploration with visits to the historic Dalmadal Cannon and the remnants of the ancient Bishnupur Fort region reflecting the military and royal legacy of the Malla dynasty. Later, proceed toward Mukutmanipur located at the scenic confluence of the Kangsabati and Kumari rivers amidst rolling hills and forested landscapes. Upon arrival, check into your lakeside resort and spend the evening enjoying the peaceful atmosphere surrounding the massive Kangsabati Dam. Day 3 Forest Hills of Susunia & Biharinath

Day 4 Joypur Forest & Departure
After breakfast, begin the return journey through the beautiful sal forests of Joypur Forest, one of the most scenic woodland regions in southern West Bengal. Drive through dense forest roads surrounded by towering sal trees, red-earth landscapes, and peaceful jungle surroundings. During winter and early mornings, lucky visitors may occasionally spot deer or even elephant movement within the forest region. Enjoy a final countryside tea break amidst the forest atmosphere before proceeding toward Bishnupur Railway Station or other designated drop points for onward departure, concluding your refreshing heritage and nature escape.
