Day 1 Arrival in Visakhapatnam & Transfer to Lambasingi
Arrive at Visakhapatnam Airport or Railway Station where assistance will be provided for your highland adventure. This marks the beginning of your breathtaking circuit covering Visakhapatnam, Lambasingi, Araku Valley, Tyda Jungle Camp, and Borra Caves. Begin your scenic ascent into the Eastern Ghats, driving through winding mountain roads and deep forest corridors toward Lambasingi, famously known as the "Kashmir of Andhra." As altitude increases, witness a dramatic drop in temperature and the emergence of thick mist covering the valleys. Upon arrival, check into your eco-resort or highland homestay surrounded by apple orchards, coffee plantations, and rolling hills. Spend the evening relaxing by a warm bonfire, soaking in the exceptionally cool and tranquil mountain atmosphere unique to this part of South India.
Day 2 Lambasingi Misty Morning & Transfer to Araku Valley
Wake up before dawn to experience the famous Lambasingi morning mist. The dense fog often lingers well past sunrise, creating a surreal, cinematic landscape across the valley. Take a peaceful guided walk through the surrounding organic coffee and pepper plantations, breathing in the fresh mountain air. Day 3 Araku Valley Exploration & Chaparai Waterfalls
Dedicate the day to exploring the natural wonders of Araku Valley. Begin with an immersive visit to the vast organic coffee estates where you can learn about traditional tribal farming techniques, roasting processes, and taste freshly brewed, globally acclaimed Araku Arabica coffee. Later, proceed toward the picturesque Chaparai Waterfalls, known for its smooth, continuous water flow over large natural rock formations surrounded by dense greenery. Spend time relaxing by the streams and enjoy a traditional "Bamboo Chicken" lunch prepared by locals right by the waterside. Day 4 Tyda Jungle Camp & Eastern Ghats Wilderness
After breakfast, check out and embark on a short drive to Tyda, a small tribal village nestled deep in the Eastern Ghats. Check into the Tyda Eco-Tourism Jungle Camp, managed by the forest department. This immersive eco-retreat offers a true wilderness experience. Day 5 Borra Caves & Return to Visakhapatnam
After a refreshing jungle breakfast, check out from Tyda and proceed toward the magnificent Borra Caves, believed to be among the oldest limestone cave systems in India. Explore the fascinating, illuminated cave interiors filled with naturally formed stalactites, stalagmites, and massive rock columns shaped over millions of years. Following the cave exploration, begin the final scenic descent down the Eastern Ghats toward the coastal plains of Visakhapatnam. Transfer to Visakhapatnam Airport or Railway Station for your onward departure, concluding your extraordinary Andhra highland and jungle adventure with unforgettable memories.
