Day 1 Arrival in Shimla / Narkanda
Begin your adventure from Chandigarh. Drive up the mountains and bypass the busy city of Shimla to stay in the peaceful, pine-scented town of Narkanda to acclimate.
Day 2 Narkanda to Chitkul/Sangla
Drive through the stunning Kinnaur Valley along the Sutlej River. Arrive in Chitkul, the last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibet border. Enjoy an evening in a cozy riverside camp or homestay.
Day 3 Sangla to Kalpa & Nako
Head deeper into the mountains towards Kalpa. Visit the famous Suicide Point and ancient monasteries. Experience the surreal views of the Kinner Kailash peaks.
Day 4 Kalpa to Kaza via Nako Lake
The landscape changes drastically to a cold desert as you enter Spiti. Stop at the emerald Nako Lake and the Gue Mummy temple before arriving in Kaza, the capital of Spiti.
Day 5 The Roof of the World (Kaza Local)
Visit Key Monastery, one of the oldest in the region. Drive to Hikkim, Komic (the highest post office in the world), and Langza (the highest village connected by a motorable road).
Day 6 Kaza to Chandratal Lake
Cross the mighty Kunzum Pass to reach Chandratal (The Moon Lake). Stay overnight in premium Swiss tents near this mesmerizing, color-changing high-altitude lake.
Day 7 Chandratal to Manali
Drive down the rugged, adventurous terrain towards Manali via the famous Rohtang Pass. Re-enter lush green civilization and relax in your Manali resort.
Day 8 Departure
Your grand Spiti expedition comes to an end. Transfer to Chandigarh Airport/Railway station with the memories of a lifetime.
